RUKA HAIR
RUKA is a new beauty brand that puts black women’s experience at the centre of their products, brand and philosophy. RUKA’s founders decided to listen to a large community that has failed to be represented and cared for in the Beauty Industry. From their very inception, they have listened to what the community wants by creating their own co-creator community. This has allowed them to focus test hair testers and product ranges.
RUKA tasked our team to bring their vision to life with a CGI virtual product launch event that consists of 4 rooms. Each room aims to gives customers a different and unique experience. Along side this, our web team have been asked to build a customer focused, bespoke e-commerce website with Shopify product integrations, video content, brand ambassador portal, referral campaigns and more!
For this project we had to get all hands on deck, we knew this would be unlike anything else we had ever created before. We wanted to make sure that we listened to the founder and the community they had built to create an authentic experience. Our web development team and 3D Designer worked together to make sure that during the planning phase the look and feel of the brand was present in the launch event, and the final website build.
The feedback received has been incredible on all fronts, within the first week we've had over 10,000+ users as well as sales generating from the very first day. The virtual experience was also recognised by the globally renowned news platform - Forbes.
